National Foods launches Pearlenta Hi Fibre

National Foods has launched the Pearlenta High-Fibre range. The Pearlenta brand has added two products to its range: Pearlenta with Wheat Bran and Pearlenta with Maize Bran.

Speaking at the launch, the Group Marketing Executive of National Foods, Angela Mpala said:
“We at National Foods have been engaging with consumers and we have launched an exciting new innovation based on the feedback and information we have been getting from the market. The Pearlenta you all know and love is now available in High Fibre. We are proud to introduce Pearlenta High Fibre with Maize bran as well as Pearlenta High Fibre with wheat bran. The great news is that these two new products come with the goodness of Pearlenta that you know, that is,you use less to cook more and it is easy to cook.”

During the launch that was held at Star FM, free meals of sadza where given to over one hundred people who passed by the Pearlenta High Fibre Caravan that was parked at Simon Mazorodze. The Group Marketing Executive of National Foods further stated that, “we are also sampling Pearlenta High Fibre countrywide, so the public will get an opportunity to taste the product in stores and through our Pearlenta High Fibre caravan.

Renowned musician and product endorser Hope Masike, attended the launch and expressed that:
“What drew me to Pearlenta High Fibre was that it gives me and Zimbabweans a healthier option for mealie meal and as a musician, I am always on the go, with hectic schedules and shows so I have to be aware of what I eat and how it benefits me and my lifestyle. What I love about Pearlenta High Fibre is that it is good for my digestion and the fibre in it makes it nutritious.” Pearlenta High Fibre comes with 6% added bran to ensure good digestive health according to the National Foods Group Marketing Executive.
